Education:
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, 2014 — Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel
  • M.Sc. in Chemistry, 2009 — Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel
  • B.Sc. in Chemistry, 2008 — Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel
Research Interests:

In the cell, large protein complexes function seamlessly in a dynamic and heterogeneous mixture of small molecules. These small molecules can have both adverse and beneficial effects. The Sukenik lab is trying to understand the interplay between the proteins that make our cells work and the environment that surrounds them. To approach this challenge, the lab combines live-cell microscopy with biophysical characterization of proteins to gain a molecular-level understanding of how proteins work out of and inside the cell, in health and in disease.

Discipline: Chemistry and Chemical Biology
